Minutes LCACP Certification Criteria Committee - 23 June 2008

Present for the meeting were: Amy Costello, Jennifer Gaalswyk, Roland Geyer, Tom Gloria, Anne Landfield-Grieg, Sebastien Humbert, Rita Schenck, Ines Sousa, and Bo Weidema.

The group continued reviewing the questions, with these decisions made:

• Red Questions 23, 24, 25—edits accepted
• Red question 26 two additional changes made answer a) changed to must—a false answer, and c) changed to use the term the LCA practitioner, for clarity
• Red question 27 accepted as is.
• Red question 27a accepted with its edits
• Red question 28 answer c) changed to peer review
• Red question 29 answer b) changed to read standard deviation instead of uncertainty answer c) to read “be inappropriate due to different scopes”
• Red question 30 edits accepted
• Red question 31 edits accepted
• Red question 32 accepted
• Red question 33accepted
• Red question 34 another correct answer added “non of the above”
• Red question 35 answer a) reads: “helps interpretation of results”
• Red question 36 accepted as is.
• Red question 37: Rita will talk with the author
• Red question 38: answer d) to be corrected, and answer e) to be NREL
• Red question 39: answer b) to read “…packaging does not need to be more detailed.”
• Red question 40: accepted as is
• Red question 41: answer c) insert the word “type” after the word “distribution”
• Red question 42 the last sentence of the question should read “For this situation, which is the best statement?”
• Red question 43, correction accepted
• Red question 44, correction accepted.

The committee also reviewed the questions submitted by Roland: he will send a corrected version, all accepted.

The next meeting will be July 10 8:00-9:30 Pacific, 11:00 – 12:30 Eastern, at the usual call in coordinates.

Committee members were requested to register at the lcacenter website to facilitate listing of their certification.
