Our intent is to make available the large body of LCA work that is currently not published or not widely disseminated. If you have any LCA documents that your would like to disseminate, but which you are not interested in publishing through the usual channels, we are interested in making it available on our website.
Content:
All types of LCA literature are invited: studies, annual reports that include LCA data, internal studies, works in progress, scoping studies, policy studies, new and different applications of LCA, curriculum aids, theoretical studies or commentary. Controversial views would be a positive benefit. We intend to embrace the widest possible range of LCA work, current, past and historical.
Exclusions:
- Only documents containing LCA related work will be accepted. The document need not be only LCA related, but LCA must be an important part of the document. Thus, environmental annual reports that include LCA data are welcome, but such reports lacking substantive LCA use are not.
- No commercial documents are desired: documents advertising LCA software and databases or LCA services will be rejected
- The literature must be in good taste, as determined by our executive committee. Although we do not anticipate this to be a problem, we do reserve the right to reject documents at our discretion.
Formats:
All electronic formats of work are acceptable: powerpoint presentations, html files, Adobe pdf files Word Perfect and Microsoft Word files are all acceptable. If documents are already online, we are to make links between our website and any existing online resources. The document must include the name and e-mail address of the person to contact for more information.
Directions:
Files can be sent as e-mail attachments. Include your contact information and a brief description of the document in the e-mail and send it to: library@lcacenter.org. This posting service is free.
